hi there, I have a beautiful black wool pashmina with embroidery on it. Thing is I won't wear it really, but I'd love to upcycle it. Any ideas?

How about making some quilted cushion covers with it? or incorporate it into a throw?? or you could make a quilted bag with it. A throw for across the end of a bed might be nice, you could trim the edge of it with some black satin or ribbon?

hi, I like the idea of trimming it with satin. The contrast would be lovely and then it would be big enough to use as a decorative throw over the back of the sofa too. Just seems a shame to cut it :) if you know what I mean. And as a pashmina worn by me... I'd look like a smurf struggling with a boa constrictor!

I know exactly what you mean, but if you are not going to wear it, you could cut it and make sure you use every bit of it (as much as you can), i'm trying to think what else you could use it for (have only got into crafting recently so am still a bit rusty on the creative side of things)

if it's rectangle shape, you could trim the edges with ribbon or satin and maybe quilt it ? make a throw for the back of a couch or the end of a bed?
