Hello, I hope someone can help give me a steer, I have a Spanish au pair who's looking for a GP. I've tried the Spanish embassy, language schools, the college of surgeons, medical council, I've even rung around various practices with no luck. Does anyone know of a Spanish speaking doctor in Dublin? I'm getting really frustrated at this point and don't know where else to ask!!

You don't say where you are exactly, but maybe try some of the international schools around Dublin. I know there's one between Bray and Greystones on Windgates Hill called SEK or something like that, and there's a language school just down the road from me called Brookhouse School that takes mainly Spanish schoolkids. They may have access to a Spanish speaking doctor.

Otherwise the only thing I can suggest is if the girl's doctor in Spain has some English, they could set up a conference call on loudspeaker and they could act as an interpreter.

Yes! Important bit of info missing there... We are in harrolds cross so
Anyone city centre, rathgar, rathmines, ranelagh, terenure, Crumlin, kimmage would be great. I did call a couple of language schools but they send their students to English speaking doctors. I'm going to send a note to the Irish college of general practitioners, fingers crossed.

did you make any headway. I checked and don't seem to find one in Dublin area. I think that Dr Patanne Harte did have a spanish speaking doctor at one stage. IN Haddington Road
