foot gel inserts

Hi Has anybody used foot gel inserts in their hiking boots do they work ? Or does your foot sweat alot and move around ?? thanks

I don't use them hiking, as my Hanwags have decent insoles themselves, but I did use a pair in my incredibly uncomfortable parade boots and they definitely worked as advertised. Those boots were sweaty anyway, but I didn't notice them being any worse.
