    Hi Guys,

I know there are a lot of threads on here about psychology courses but I couldnt find one that went in depth about distance learning courses. The story is, I applied for a HDip in Psychology with an Irish University but didnt get it (I assume due to not having any background in Psychology) so I wanted to do an introduction course to make me a better candidate when I re-apply next year.

I have been looking at the Open University "Discovering Psychology" course http://www3.open.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/course/dse141.htm
    and
CMIT's "Certificate in Psychology" course http://www.cmit.ie/courses-psychology-health-distance-learning/psychology-distance-learning.html

Just wondering does anyone have any info on these courses or any thoughts on the matter, or any other distance learning courses they know of which may be of help when re-applying to the HDip.

Thanks a lot for your help,
    Cordo.

Without looking at either site, the OU would be seen as a better place of study.
