Is this a little late, given the dire state of tourism in North Mayo?

    Annoucement here

For the dribs and drabs coming through, is it a waste of money?

Why wasn't this done 10 years ago?

Wish the new office all the best. I recall John Walkin calling for this many years ago

I hope that the amount of bednights booked thru it is substantial. That would be a major factor is keeping it open permanently. Meanwhile congrats to Michelle on this

I think its a great boost for the town, hopefully it will provide a good service and visitors will be encouraged to seek local accomodation and find out about all visitor attractions. Its needed now more than ever.
