hi all im in the market for a car and am thinking of buying a 08 civic (2.2 i-cdti).I will prob go to england to buy as i would like a pretty high spec if not the highest .I was looking at a type s gt model but then came across a couple other high spec ones like a executive and sport model.Im just wondering wat are the difference in all of these specs. The only diff i can see in the exec and gt model is the lips on the outside back and front and the gt model only comes in 3dr all other spec inside seems to be the same from what i can see and read:confused:.
Hope some1 can shed some light on this for me
    cheers and thanks:)

I bought an EX last year - leather, sat nav, panoramic roof, etc.

Very well specced, but it was out of England. Very few cars of Irish origin with that spec. The Type S looks well, but again most in Ireland are of UK origin and is only available as a 3-door.

Best bet is to have a trawl through the Wiki at civinfo.com - main issues tend to be random squeaks and rattles, so just listen out for them during the test drive.

Best site I always use for comparing versions of various cars is Parkers.co.uk.

If you go to the Facts and Figures section for any car for any year it will give you a list of all the model variations and then if you go into the review for any model there is an Equipment section that compares what extras came as standard etc with any model.

    hope this helps

Just to second the recommendation for Civinfo. I use it a good bit, and it is very handy for information and how to guides
