Hi, I'll keep this brief as I'm sure the little details are not entirely important, but long story short

But I'm working in a role in a computer sales company, we'll call them 'pc yorld'

I'm there almost two years and I originally started on 9 euro an hour, and in the interview was told this had the chance to go more if my performances sales wise were good and that this was the rate of pay that everyone starts on! That's fine!

So in the past year I've smashed every kpi, done the highest sales in the Country for the company, never missed a day, never been late, never had any warnings or quarrells with anyone, and have been promised the moon and the stars from my general manager that my money will go up and I'm His best worker etc. that's fine, so after a year and a half I finally get put up to 9.41, being told that in another year or 8 months if I keep up these outstanding performances I'll get up to the next pay grade 10.67!

So that's fine and I'm plugging away doing as good ad I can and there's two new guys who started from a company who went bust, we'll call the company 'pleats' and were hired, that's fine.

So to sum up, I'm in the company 1 year 9 months, top of sales, never miss a day never cause trouble, the model employee, who's told I have a bight future and am aspiring to get up to 10.67 in the foreseeable future!

But yesterday I found out that these new lads from 'pleats' started on 11.67 per hour! And I've been training them in, and my managers telling them to listen to me and to learn from what I'm doing!

I nearly got sick when I saw the pay role and say what they're on!

And apparently when they left pleats, they were on minimum wage, and in their interview with the company I work in, they were offered the money not expecting it!

Is this actually fair that I've been completely shut out for a role I'm clearly working towards that they never told me was available and never told me the oportunity was there?!

That is absolute bollox and I would so say something, this happened to me in lets say "chatbusters" I was a manager and trained another manager in and it turned out he was on more money than me, at the time I lost it and played the sex card as he was male and I am female, I did get a pay rise and in time he absconded with a few grand :D

I know we shouldnt look at others and what they are getting as you never know they may or may not have negotiated a better deal than you, but you have seen it and you either bring it to the attention of your manager and say its not on or keep your head down and work towards your own pay rise, but I know which one I would be doing

Curious to know how you saw the 'pay role'?
