Loads of people wear runners like that - they're back in fashion again I believe with the youngsters and the kids and the ne'er do wells.

Haven't seen anyone wearing those rompers outside, so maybe it's just a UK bargain (let's hope at least).

That said, I am generally disgusted by the damn recycled 80s fashion that hurts my eyes everywhere I look at the moment.

You'd surely have to have some unresolved issues if you're a grown man and want to go around the streets wearing a baby-grow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 866 ✭✭✭rusty_racer94

    It'a just a 'glorified' mechanic's uniform.

THe babysuit no and I think people should rightly mock, move onto chanting then get whipped up into a frenzy and stone to death anyone who goes out in public wearing it.

As for the runners... well.. I know a couple of people who would cream themselves over something like that never mind the yoof of today. If I had my way we'd all be wearing shiny leather shoes.

The Waltons? I think I remember my parents telling me they watched that show as kids. :p

Well it's really just a sideways step from the knacks that go to the shops in pyjamas.

    It was great.
Sentimental family mush - but we knew no different at the time. :o

I've yet to see a grown man wear a baby-grow...those runners however, are really popular. I work in a shoe shop and the "hi-top" style is flying out the door!

That's nothing. The other day I saw some person walking around town in a Morphsuit. They weren't doing some sort of performance arts either.. just going about their day and buying stuff in Eurospar =/

It used to be on RTE2 on Sunday after mass. It was followed by Folio, where three old, grey men would discuss books. I ****in' hated Sundays as a child!

Everyone should start dressing like back in the Middle Ages again. Except maintain modern hygiene standards.

Yeah, that very one! Imagine how embarrassed you'd feel walking around in that.. Though, on the other hand nobody would know who you were so it'd be a fairly private embarrassment!

Fair play to the person - they must have big balls to do it. :pac:

...And if so, they would show!

I might consider wearing the tracksuit/babygrow if it had a Grizzly Adams style bumflap.

Nothing, if you're still living in the 80's

I'd wear the high-tops if I ever found myself with a powerful urge to go back in time and kick Marty McFly in the nuts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,943 ✭✭✭✭the purple tin

Looks like something they'd make you wear in the nut-house.

I seen some of those babygrow things (full grown man size) in Blanchardstown SC last week, except instead of being plain, they were Tigger the Tiger design. I thought I was imagining things.

The flap would make it easier to wipealot alright;)

That one piece actually looks like modern prison wear for youths.

A lot better than the ****e we had to wear in the joy. Everyone wearing bright blue denim jeans, nasty.

But then again people will argue prisoners should wear what they're given and have no right to be fashionable or shouldn't be allowed to look fab either.

    £70 for a baby gro:eek::eek:

They sell them in the local Mr. Price store for a tenner.Still, would anybody wear one in public unless they were dressing up as Maggie Simpson.Although a few years ago we couldn't have imagined the scourge that is wearing pyjamas in public.

I really really hate the clothes that have been ''in fashion'' for the past couple of years. 80s clothes were not attractive the first time, and there are many girls who wear leggings and skinny jeans who really shouldn't, although I find them hideous on everyone. Good idea to wear skinny jeans and a belly top if you want to look massive. I despise it even more when men wear skinny jeans, especially with these justin bieber haircuts. I was working for a few years and I decided to go to back to college last year, my god, I can't tell the boys from the girls anymore.

They are f**king ridiculous looking and the zip at the mickey makes them even more stupid looking. I think I would piss myself laughing if I saw my hubby wearing one.
