Cav's convinced he's not pulling out, looking at that pic I'm not so confident.

interesting to see how the two sky riders do. only 20 seconds separate them in the young rider comp

The lead for Rabottini is starting to decrease :(
It would be class if he stayed out for the win.
    The weather is mank!

Rabottini is hanging in there! 2min 16sec lead with 5.3km left. Things are hotting up with the main contenders further back.

    What a finish!
Heartbreak and then elation all within the final few hundred metres for Rabottini!

didnt think Rabottini would get that back, brilliant win for him to come back at the end

Aye superb finish, very gutsy, any other result would have been so harsh. Clock ticking on Cav in the bus now, he seems to want to win the jersey, manky day today but and full of hills........bound to soften him up :p

That was awesome, so delighted for Rabottini. Despite Rodriquez going into pink, I can't see him winning it, he'll lose too much in the big mountains like the Stelvio imo. Today suited him more than the likes of Basso or even Hesjedal who I think will climb the Stelvio better than him

Sat glued to this all afternoon. Was so happy with the result. He really deserved it. Even my wife became entranced over the final 3km. We see it so often, the lone breakaway being reeled in before the line. There was something about Rabotinni's demeanour all through the stage that endeared one to him. Anybody think Joaquim Rodriguez might have gifted it to him? When he passed him I never thought Rabotinni would have the strength to come back and take him in the end. Twas brilliant viewing. And poor Damiano. I thought he deserved better.

I think it was a case of Rodriguez wanting to put in as much time on the others as possible, he therefore couldn't sit up and wait for Rabotinni to take the stage, he had to pass Rabotinni then see if he had any strength to stay with him, he did, and when Rambo pushed for the win, I think JRod backed off a tad.

I agree, it was a great finish, but as for Cunego, he got caught in no-mans-land, it looks like he's trying to stir it up at the front but nothing's sticking, if it works he could be in pink but unfortunately he's not on top form.

As for F Sclack , he's pulled out, but Bruyneel says: "HTFU" :pac:

While checking out Gadret's wiki entry I came across this nugget

was a great stage more so than some people had complained on forums, everyone who doesnt understand bike riding wanted attacks galore, but in that weather it took brave man to risk a move and rodriguez did, it looked like he just gave it all, and when he was passed with no time bonuses on offer he just took the wheel.

Glad iv had plenty cash on jrod and hesjedal to do well.
