can anyone advise why my well pump is not cutting out when it gets to the set presure and when i switch off the power it doesnt loose presure, any help appreciated

Pressure switch.
Some switches have a very narrow opening under them and can get blocked. This stops the pressure tripping out the mechanism and stopping your pump.
You could take off the switch
And run it through with a long needle or blow it out with air.
