I have a d3100 at the moment and was thinking about selling it. What would I go for next? my budget is about €1200-€1500.

    Thanks guys.

Not to be smart, but why sell it if you don't know what you want to replace it with?

What does it not do that you want it to be able to do?

EDIT: I just clicked into this thread a second time and re-read my post. I just realised it may have come across a little mean or such, and it wasn't intended that way. Was a genuine question.

Have a look for a Nikon D700 secondhand. You won't be disappointed and you can still use any DX lens you already have even though this body is full frame.

Whatever reason you are upgrading for be aware that Nikon parts are a mess at the moment and are only getting worse.

Bear that in mind when upgrading to a Nikon camera as in future repairs will take longer and cost more as only ASF's will have parts available to them. Currently there are a number of petitions to Nikon from independant repair shops and also from ASFs because of this parts situation (parts taking months to arrive etc...).

Don't get me wrong, they make good cameras but this is going to hurt them in the long run.
Have a look on Google if you want a broader look into the situation.

Just a heads up if you are going to invest a good bit into the Nikon system.
