Identifacation needed please

    Only had camera fone handy so not an amazing pic. Sparrow size bird with similar colouring to its back with thrush like markings on its breast. There was two in the garden but both looked the same so not sure if they were females. From what I could see they were pecking at the dead heads of the dandilions.
