    No, we can't.
    A) It's forbidden.
    B) Chiropractors don't belong in a Health Science thread!

Massive waste of money. See a doctor or an excellent physio.

Seems like this forum has become inherently biased against alternative medicine since its name change. Seems a big disingenuous

If you want to debate with vacuous idiots I suggest you take it to after hours buddy. Peoples health takes precedent over any pseudo intellectual leftist agenda to maintain an "open mind" in the face of bare faced facts and common sense so long as it flies in the face of evil modern medicine. The fact in this case is that chiropracters are at best self-deluded fools, at worst con artists that take advantage of the ill and needy.

for someone with 274 posts in two years you have fairly substantial opinion on what should and shouldn't be discussed on this forum? Who put you in charge?

Why are you trying to sweep chiropractic therapy under the rug?

People are doing it, hundreds in this country, this is the most appropriate forum on the site for such discussion , unless they want to make an alternative medicine forum in the soc category.

Sorry I didn't realise that it was forbidden and where should i have posted my query?

I just presumed that if you had a back problem you went to a chiropractor, don't see how going to my doctor will help, he will only give me drugs that will make think that every thing is fine and I will do even more damage to my back, never thought of a physio in fairness, how come there is so much hostility to chiropractors

The forum is called 'Health Sciences'.
It's a subsection of the 'Sciences' section of the site.
It is regularly visited by healthcare professionals.

Those that wish to discuss 'Alternative Medicine' have always been welcome here, but they are expected to discuss it in a scientific manner ie. if you make a claim, then it's up to you to back up the claim with scientific evidence.

Chiropractors, other 'alternative' therapists and their clientele tend to make unscientific claims and consistently refuse to discuss their therapies in a manner befitting a Science forum.

Usually, they are asked to do so, and they refuse, and then they get defensive (and sometimes abusive) and then the thread gets locked.

(Disclaimer: the contents of this post are based on personal observation of what has happened in the past, and as such constitutes 'anecdotal evidence'. As we know, anecdotal evidence is barely evidence at all, so feel free to ignore this comment!)
