Been very busy with work and I'm looking at different ways to relax during my time off. I haven't been sleeping too well at night and am looking into a floatation tank session.

Can anybody recommend one in Dublin? Are they good and beneficial?

I have heard mostly good reports about them even though they tend to be slightly over priced.

I tried this once. It was a bit weird at first, but relaxing, and I fell asleep in it. That night I fell out of bed for the first and only time in my life. If you try to roll over in the flotation tank the salt keeps you on your back, so think this may have had something to do with it.

I intended to do it again, but never did, and the place, which was in Ranelagh, is gone now. Don't know if it is still there, but there was a place called the Harvest Moon centre on Baggot St that had one.

It was expensive - 40 or 50 euros I think - for what is effectively taking a bath in water that loads of other people have used  They kept the lights down low for good reason I reckon, so make sure you have a shower afterwards!
