    Hi Guys
can anyone help me with this image? The gent in question did a bit of damage to my car and drove off. It can be repaired handy enough but I'd at least like to approach the boys in blue with a make and model and approx year. One of the local shops gave me this still and if anyone could help with the make, model and year (big ask), I'd appreciate it!!

    Cheers

Yeah a Vanette Cargo. Maybe 1996 (ish). It's very difficult to tell though.

    Good luck.

The second reg character is fairly solid so I'd say 98.

Looks like alloys or hubcaps on it too, not the standard steelies anyway.

Can't be many of those floating about. Keep an eye out near where the incident happened and you'll probably spot it again. Best of luck.

    Where did it happen anyway?

    Looks like non-Dublin reg.

Pop up a link to google maps and we might be able to suggest a few places it was delivering / collecting from.

A non-marked (advertising) fridgevan is probably transporting samples or something like that for a lab or simillar. (could be water samples for CoCo etc)

as suggested above it'll probably be back in the area soon enough again.

Go round to a few of the commercial premises around there with the photo. If he delivers to them, they may recognise the van.

Assuming that's a fridge unit up there, It's unusual that the unit is black

Looks like 98 LS LK or LD

Looks like an LD to me but I don't think I've ever seen a LD reg. :) I'm not even sure what county it is. :P

Older fridge units sometimes had a black metal cladding on them. More likely to be White GRP or similar nowadays. Should make it pretty easy to spot in the area.
