Cisco EPC 2945 DMZ guide

    Hi there,

    I recently purchased a Synology DS411j NAS box and a D-link DIR655 router.
I have a 30mb UPC package with the 'famous' Cisco EPC 2945 modem/router.

In order to access the NAS via an external network (internal network is working great) I need to enable port-forwarding. I understand that in order to do so I will either need to bridge the Cisco router to the D-Link router or set up a DMZ. I have read through many forums and websites regarding how to do this and would really appreciate a detailed step by step (dummies guide) in how to set up bridging or a DMZ.

    Thanks in advance,
