I am applying for my third provisional and got my first one in 2007, for many reasons I could never afford a car in Ireland during that time and did not do a test. 18 months ago I was doing lessons and did 10 or so, I am now going to apply to do my test. Do I need to do 12 more mandatory lessons? I can't find the rules for…

I am applying for my third provisional and got my first one in 2007, for many reasons I could never afford a car in Ireland during that time and did not do a test. 18 months ago I was doing lessons and did 10 or so, I am now going to apply to do my test.

Do I need to do 12 more mandatory lessons? I can't find the rules for people on existing provisional licences applying for the test.

Sorry if this has been asked before, I just can't find the info I need and am in a rush at an internet cafe.

No you do not. Only those who got their first Learner Permit after April 2011 need to complete the 12 EDT lessons.
