    Hi
Two years ago I graduated with a account and finance degree level 8 but at the end I got poor results. Basically since then I've being working in shops and warehouses. Being told by accounting firms I've no exp. that's fine I under stand that. My question is would I be better off leaving my job which is absolute crap if I'm honest and try and get into one of those job placement programmes offered by FAS.
If I had the money I would have tried and sat the acca paper but due to my finances this isn't possible.

    Thanks for any help

In my opinion, yes you would be better off as long as you can get some relevant experience from it and you can afford to live off the money on offer for one. Sometimes have to sacrifice your short-term finances for the sake of the long-term benefits when starting something from scratch.

Thanks for the reply that's the way I was looking at it. Just hope it doesn't come back and bite me in the back side.
To qualify for those work placements how long do you have to be on job seekers allowance

''And have been in receipt of Jobseekers Benefit, Jobseekers Allowance or
signing for Social Insurance Contribution Credits for a total of 3 months (78
days) or more in the last 6 months.''
