hi lads can any one help. iv being asked to fit lights for a boxing club. they have just moved premises and the lighting in the hall is ok but would need more lighting over the boxing ring. they dont want to go too expensive and i was thinking of single high bay induction light over the centre or fluorescent lights set up like a perimeter truss, any ideas..thanks

I think highbay fittings with a prismatic louver fitted is a good idea too ( if you have the height to suspend them above the floor of the ring, they vary on the fitting shown below), maybe even one with a halogen lamp built in, assuming that there is a tight budget like in most boxing clubs :)

Might want to take a view on the colour of the lamp too, might need it to be a certain colour possibly white if they have some sort of scoring system that monitors colour. The lamps will most likely be double envelope, but I'd still check.

For this type of industrial fitting we'd have used Hilclare fitting in the past. Good quality and well priced
