What should we do

Right. We have a telehandler, and 2 tracs. One a 7610 SQ the father wants to trade for a newest if not new tarctor and loader. So lets say the tractor is worth 11,500 as a trade in. Buy a tractor and loader worth say 35,000 so thats 23,500 outlay.

I'm dead against this as this tractor and loader will only be used as a back up to the main loader. Plus maybe going for one or 2 loads of bales. As well as putting a few bales in the outside farm. She will be parked up over there for the winter used max 2hrs a wk.

What i'd be more in favour of is putting a loader on the 7610. Know where i can get one off another 7610 and she'll fit straight on. 1000 will cover it and say 500 to do up the pins. So let the remainder be 22000 which I would spent on up grading the telehandler! Down side to this is that the 76 is SQ so gearing is all wrong for a loader as in going from forward to reverse needs alot of gear changing. Plus side is a newer tele.

What would you be more in favour of and settle this argument:pac::pac: Getting rid of the telehandler isn't a thrid option:D:D

    Thanks

if the 7610 is 4wd and in good nic then yeah its a better option espically if your not going to be using the loader much. you wont get much of a loader for a grand better off spending a little bit more and get one that can be easily taken off. this will be come more apperant when your lifting heavy silage bales and doing lots of road work with it on as the boucing isnt good for the bearings and shakes the s**t out of the frame and tractor itself. as for the gears if its just going to used for drawing bales then thats a not bit issue once the clutch is ok. is the teleporter going to be used mostly???

Touching 200. Main loader would do i'd say 500 to 600hrs in the year. 76 would be feeding 30 or 40 head of that.

The loader in question is a quicke loader 6600 i'm sure. Well built loader pins are in need of replacement. Currently runs off the spools on the back but I would plumb straight in and get a joystick. I'd be well able to swap em over but dont know what cost or if its possible to fit a joystick. Loader is double acting. Have a fitting that will go on this loader so it will pick up the same attachments as the tele. You will buy this loader for a grand.

Not going to be doin loads of road work. I wouldn't have must mind in spending big money on s S/H tractor that might be wrecked with a loader. The 76 has depreciated as far as its going to go so...........we'll see:pac:
