Anyone who use Chrome to Phone have issues getting Google Maps sent from laptop to open with the Maps app on my phone

Anytime I send it from my laptop it wants to open the directions in a browser

I cant remember when I used it last but I used to be able to open the links directly in my Maps app

It could have been when had the HTC Desire and not my Galaxy Nexus

Just sent a directions link to my 1X and it gave me the option to open in browser or maps app. Did you try clearing the defaults associated with the browser incase that was set?

but it prompts me to choose which browser I want to use but not browser or maps app

tried restoring defaults of the original nexus browser and it made no difference

I think the issue may be to do with whether you send a maps.google.ie link versus a maps.google.com link.

There was a thread on this a few weeks ago, and it was reported to google.
