Is there any chance that this is genuine or is it too good to be true? Dad thinks the clutch could end up costing around or over €1000. http://carsireland.ie/793028

Clutch should be €450 I would have thought.
    Price is right I think.

I might ring around a few places, do you think its worth it? It seems a decent car other than that.

Ask what the story is with the Head Gasket, AFAIK its a problem on those.

I reckon its worth it as long as the engine is in good shape and has been maintained. It's the best colour for a zs and its a saloon which looks better than a hatch. They're a cracking yoke if a bit old fashioned, that's part of the appeal if I'm honest.

Better get some quotes in writing before buying anything.

It may be a 1.4 but its still got 105 BHP which I might add is 30 more than VW/Skoda's/SEAT's with the same displacement and the same vintage.

OP, I'm sure RoverJames will be a long soon and he's the one to talk to about them. PM him. I personally love those and plan to get one myself in the future.

Yeah I will do in the next few days, I cant get any online

I was just on chill.ie and it says only the ZR comes in a 1.4 and the smallest ZS is 1.6. Its €5075 to insure the 1.6 :O and its €3535 for the 1.4 hatchback. I better keep looking.

Its actually only €500 more than a Micra so it might not be terrible.
