    Hi everyone
Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge or experience of the Steiner ranger pro binos? Thinking about getting a pair in 10x42 for the upcoming season. Or any advice for buying with a budget of €500-600. Thanks

I can tell you for sure that they are excellent and hard to beat unless you go over €2k. Just my opinion. I am a big fan of the auto-focus ones, saves a lot of twiddle time and works perfectly for my eyes.

I agree top quality, especially the autu focus, robust/crisp/reliable, had two sets over the years. I found them a tad bit heavy around the neck when walking.

I have a pair of Stiner 10X42's great glasses, Don't think you will get better then them for that money

In the 600€ range you can buy Vortex Viper HD 10x42 or Viper HD 10x50, Kowa BD 10x42 and Hawke Frontier ED 10x43. All of them are a better choice then Steiner Ranger Pro in my opinion. Especially if you ware glasses you should pick other binoculars since eyepieces of Ranger Pro series are not really suitable for the use with glasses.
