    Hi all,
Got a problem with the heating system in a Citroen Berlingo van. when i turn on the heater to hot either to the windscreen or the feet a very strong smell of coolant arises in the van.
Is it possible that the heater matrix is leaking. have'nt noticed any significant drop in radiator water level but there is a wet patch on the carpet in the drivers footwell.(this may also be as a result of yesterday's heavy rain)
Is it a big job to replace the heater matrix, ie removal of the dash, what would it cost,or is there a sealing compound i can mix with the water in the radiator to seal this leak.??
    Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
