    the engineers attitude stinks :eek:

    ... but i can understand his frustrations. he could do with some lessons in communication though :D

    Yeh, struck me as unprofessional definitely. An engineer provides a service to a client like. It will be interesting to hear the other side.

    Yeh, the mix is up there as well. Sounds grand, nothing special tbh. Is he a big deal?

    has mixed for eminem, 50 cent, lenny kravitz, janet jackson and a ton more. he's had his name on platinum sellers and a ton of grammy wins.

    He probably learned that mad attitude from posting on the Womb forum. It's all egos there, frustrated song writers. That said, I can understand the frustration when someone says they want Motown, and expects it to come from the mix, but didn't write the song that way. That's dumb. But there are better ways of dealing with that. But I didn't listen to the song yet so maybe I'm giving the twat engineer the benefit of the doubt.

    OK, listened to the track. There is a Motown vibe obviously. Could be more authentic- not auto tuning the voice would be a good start, though it sounds like the performance is lacking real effort. Someone mentioned dirtying it up, yes, dirty everything. The reverb is the right sound but it's not deployed effectively. Someone mentioned the fade out- yes, very careless.

    So ya, this mix could be a lot better, but the vocal is an issue. Does not at all excuse the engineers bizarre attitude though.
