I think that the ITG and Boards.ie should merge with the San Francisco and Blackpool trams and operate a shuttle service to the ferry port on Clare Island..

Far too many drunks and junkies on board

Its the slowest forum on boards. Unreliable at times and prone to strikes.

Apart from that its fine, fine, fine..

I've a free DSP pass that I don't need as I made two by accident. Can I get a refund in O'Connell Street for it or shall I sell it on Adverts.ie?

When you get to carlow make sure you give yourself enough time as it can take up to 2 hours by donkey to get from the station to the offices.

Make sure you bring enough money as it can be quiet costly although I heard donkeys introduced in 2012 accept all major debit and credit cards and leap cards as well.

Donkeys introduced in 2012 have to issue receipts and have to be wheelchair accessible.

I got onto a train after beating the crap out of the station master, ticket clerk and the train driver, after which I blew up the station and ticket machine. I then got a fixed penalty notice on the next train for not having a ticket.

Should I appeal seeing as there was no station to buy my ticket?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,395 ✭✭✭✭mikemac1

    Service in here is awful

When is the trolley with tea and sandwiches coming around?

Hold on, I'll head over to the Ladies Lounge and tell them to get the tea and sandwiches ready

    You were lucky .

I turned up with my free travel card ( had to deliver an item to a guy in Cork) and they asked for proof of identity.

Even worse my free train home was delayed in Mallow in order to allow delayed Kerry folk to connect.

FFS is this what you pay your taxes for ?

I'm still disappointed that Broombridge got overlooked for station of the year

That station has friendlier staff then a lot of other stations

My girlfriend's boyfriend turned up at Rosslare Harbour for the 04:30 train to Waterford and it's not there yet. Anybody know what time it's leaving?

Typical moderation policy in here

The quiet and polite posters get slapped down with bans and infractions if they make a mistake

But the loud agressive posters get away with anything, the mods are frightened of them

    Double standards

There's only 1 Mod here and he's quite happy to hand out bans.

I was on a private non stop Dublin-Cork bus serving all towns and there was a trolley toilet service with WIMAX. Left me off at Eyre Square and all.

It can but we need a priest

As we've learned from WRC and Knock Airport, a priest can get things done

Head over to religion forum and this line will be opened in no time

Well, speaking of that, there's been an increase of Aer Lingus Regional operations out of Knock (in the form of daily flights between there and Birmingham), to the apparent detriment of Shannon.

    Incorrect.

The aircraft is actually based in Shannon, but will no longer operate a Birmingham/Dublin return service, now serving Birmingham/Knock and v.v. to replace bmi baby on that route.

No reduction in EI regional service to/from Shannon at all, with 2 aircraft based there operating to Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Edinburgh and Rennes.

What is "apparent" is subjective and cannot be correct or incorrect.
