Fimo question

Hi I haven't posted on this forum yet but I have a question. Basically I have a floral necklace surrounded by turquoise petals. I lost one so bought fimo to replace it. ( I tried several jewelers to no avail) Anyway the petals are tiny, approx half cm in length and a quarter cm in width at widest point. I want to do this in my oven and it is gas. All the instructions are for electric ovens. Has anyone out there used gas? What gas mark can I use and for how long. The instructions are for 130deg for 30 mins for electric. With the piece I will make I was concerned it would take maybe less time.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Yes I have used a gas cooker, just put it on lowest heat (half if there is one) and keep an eye on it.

I enjoyed it, It was time consuming this eve but made earrings and pendants and a couple of buttons.(I'll sew those into a bag I am making.) There is so much that can be done with it.

You should try making canes (same principal as sticks of rock) then you take off really thin slices - like barely a millimeter thick, and apply them to the surface of balls of fimo to make beads etc.
