Left in a Mavic Askium to have it trued a few weeks back, said I'd be back at 6 to collect bike, rang them about 5.30 to see how they were getting on - they'd obviously forgotten about it / had more important things to do. When I showed up, I was fobbed off with some excuse that they couldn't do it (seized spoke nipples, appently), wheel only a year old. So wouldn't bother TBH unless anyone has a more positive experience

No, I can move them with a spoke key, but find these wheels to difficult to true myself. Another excuse was they were afraid of breaking a spoke, had about half a dozen drive and none drive side with me. In the end, they told me to take the wheel back to where I bought it, all in all a pointless exercise and a waste of time

Bee Cycles on the south circular road gets a lot of praise round here. Seems from his website that he builds wheels from €30.

Best wheels I have ever had built are from Parker International (I have no connection). They are in the UK so they are probably a bit expensive now with sterling difference. I have had a couple of sets built on Open Pro rims and have done 1000's of KM on them without ever needing to be trued..The choce of rims is limited for hand builds but have a look...

sorry just saw that you were looking for a wheel rebuilt rather than new...

Thinkbike in Rathmines rebuilt a mtb wheel for 60 euro for me including spokes. Took 2 or 3 days.
