Playstation Slimline wont show up on my television

    Just bought a playstation this evening but I cant get it up on my television. Help badly needed! I am also only using a scart lead. Thanks in advance

    Press and hold the power button. You will hear one beep, a pause and then another beep. Let go of the button and the screen setting should reset, and start displaying via the SCART lead.

    Thanks for the reply. I have been trying this but nothing is happening. When I do it, it is just turning on and off. Does it make any diiference that it is a samsung television?

    When the PS3 is off press and keep the power button pressed it beeps once starting up keep the button pressed until it beeps again then let go. This resets the display. It shouldn't be turning on and off.

    Do you have something to test the cables?

    Not trying to be smart but do you have the TV on the AV channel?
