Trying to cut from 12.5% bf to abt 8....currently doing german body composition work https://www.charlespoliquin.com/Arti..._Athletes.aspx. And HIIT cardio on rest days

Diet isn't too bad.porridge is the only carbs for the day with salads making up most of my meals..lots of broccoli and mostly using cottage cheese, eggs, chicken and tuna for my protien..
The only problem is that I'm snacking on 2/3 tea spoons of peanut butter (proper stuff now) 2/3 times a day and having plenty of olive oil with my 2 salads daily.
Is there too much healthy fats too get the bf down??
    Any advice appreciated

I would say that you have that last bit backwards.

Unsaturated fats are not a disaster for cutting or indeed general health. I'm a firm believer in the high fat, high protein, low (or moderate on training days) carb route when cutting. Getting your body used to using lipolysis as it's main source of energy will encourage fat loss when your calorie expenditure exceeds intake. I wouldn't be worrying about the peanut butter so much.

In answer to your question yes you can go too far with the fats via this route, but not much risk at all if you're on the cutting route rather than the bulking route.

    wow
How effective is the GBC program? I’ve seen men gain 12 to 18 pounds of muscle within 12 weeks while losing fat, and it’s not uncommon for women to lose seven percent bodyfat in the same time period.

Really liked this thread, some great info in it. And even though I was skeptical at a lot of what it had to say, it works.

Sitting sub 8% at the moment (four point skin fold calipers test).

Very basic guide how to get shredded

Two weeks into that program now..my god it's not fun. Over 200 lunges a week..ouch!! Back is constantly aching pull ups and chins everyday!! Down abt 1.5% in two weeks, the pain is worth it!
