Hi all, just thought I'd ask you all to keep a look out for a nice watch. I have a few everyday watches but I am now looking for something special. Thank you

    Budget? Style?

Sorry I was drolling over eBay when I posted that. It am be most styles only one that I'd probably stay away from is a chunky diver. I had €400-500 in mind, but could go a little higher. I was a thinking maybe a nice omega Raymond Weil. Thank you

Best suggestion is to find something you like online and we'll see can we find something similar/cheaper.

    Some questions for you:
    bracelet or metal strap?
    what dial colour?
any must have features? date? day? chrono?
    what do you have already?
    new or used?

[this might work best as a new thread]

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I really am open to most watches I really like omegas in particular speedmaster's however I think I will have to wait a little longer for that. I have looked at some pre bond sea masters however couldn't see any with box and papers. At the moment I am leaning towards a used watch. There was a lovely Raymond Weil and speed master moon to mars on adverts recently that wee snapped up.

If anyone has a watch they are selling that fits the bill please let me know. Also I have the advantage of having an American address to ship to.

My day to day watch is a citizen blue angel navihawk.

Having looked on eBay all evening, I think I may bid on the below.

    http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=120910758919&index=23&nav=SEARCH&nid=36794458023

Have people seen cricks sea master on adverts. In two minds to bid or not. Do people here think it is a fair price?

It looks like a decent price from what I remember while looking around for one.

If I remember correctly, he seems to sell some nice pieces on adverts.ie and seems genuine.

Personally 36mm would be way too small for me, otherwise I'd go for it myself. But perhaps a larger face would go for more?

Thank you, but it's not really what I am looking for.

So you are happy to go with quartz, but not a dress watch like the Constellation? You are looking for more of a tool-watch style?

    We are getting there...:)
