3Gs replacement screen

    Hi Guys,


    Looking for the best place to buy a new screen for a 3gs i have a new one and want to try do this myself just for the sake of it.

    Where is the cheapest and best place to get the replacement.

    What can i expect to pay.

    ebay and similar sites have screens if you want to give it a go yourself.
    Youtube has videos on how to replace screen.

    You have 2 options in relation 2 Ebay. To buy the screen with the LCD frame in situ or without. The price difference reflects this. I have done both, and I would purchase the "LCD frame attached" option everytime. It'll cost in the region of €20-€30. The other option involves removing the bezel from the broken screen with heat; not too difficult be for the extra few quid, it saves so much hassle.

    -2 screws out of the bottom
    -Sucker for screen removal ( provided with the kits )
    -3 cables to disconnect from main board
    -a few LCD retaining screws


    Literally a 5 min job.

    And above assumes that the LCD is not damaged. If it is, it'll cost a little more.
