Hi there, I will be travelling to Kilmacanogue from Cork next week. I know how to get as faras Bewley's Hotel, but I'm a bit confused about the M50 and where to turn off for Kilmacanogue. Any help appreciated.

You could come via Waterford, Enniscorthy N11 and hit Kilmac after the Glen of the downs. (pre-Bray). Otherwise dont come off the m50 for Bewleys. Stay on the M50, it becomes the M11 and Kilmac is the junction after Bray south.

Just to be clear, Kilmacanogue is actually on the N11, you don't take an exit to get to it, it's bang on the N11 so you pass right through the village.

Yes, but unless you happen to be visiting the lavender field, some industrial units or the petrol station, then chances are that you will actually need to exit the N11, cross the bridge and loop back around.

N11 junctions are now numbered, Kilmac is at junction 8 (which is also signposted for Roundwood and Glendalough). As previously suggested if you're coming from east Cork it may be as quick to go via Waterford and Enniscorthy.

Appreciate that but the earlier poster described Kilmacanogue as a 'junction' so I just wanted to make sure that the OP didn't cruise down the N11 looking for an exit sign with Kilmacanogue on it without realising that you drive straight through it.

although it's very simply, take M50 southbound at N7 junction and just keep going to you hit the stupidly low speed limit just south of Bray and there you are :)

Its a bit picky, if you dont come off at the junction after Bray south you will go through. The same for Northbound.

If its daytime, you'll see the Sugarloaf mountain above kilmac.

It's still much quicker to go via n/m7 &m50 than via Waterford, New Ross Enniscorthy etc

Errm, there IS an exit sign with Kilmacanoge on it, with advanced signage starting just after the southernmost Bray exit in fact.

Depending on where exactly in Kilmacanoge she wants to go to, she'll almost certainly need to turn off and go over the overpass, unless as the other poster said she wants to see a lavender field or get petrol.

Not so stupid if you see the way some gob****es come out of that garage, I don't know they they don't do the same as on the other side and force garage traffic up over the flyover.
