Seize the assets of the Catholic church

As you all know there were great human rights abuses being done by the Catholic church in Ireland. Money can never repay what was done to all innocent people, however given the state of the Irish economy it would be very rational to seize all the assets of the Catholic church to help cover the shortfalls. I consider this to be one of my better ideas.

Please read and comply with the spirit and intent of our charters found in the Politics main forum and its Irish Economy subforum. In particular:

Certain standards of debate are expected...

If your posts consists of little more than a statement that some group of people or other are bad people... (e.g., Catholic church, etc.) think long and hard before pressing "submit," because we'll be treating that as trolling from here on in...

If your OP consists of nothing more than a two-line thought that just popped into your head, don't start a thread.
