Do you mean QuarkXPress, the graphics software tool? That's the only one thing that comes to mind (apart from suggesting you approach CERN;)).

Edited to add: do you mean quark cheese? That would make sense now!

I think you might need a specialist cheese shop for that. There's a few cheese stalls in the Milk Market, Cornstore Deli on Thomas St or you might just get it at Superquinn at a push.

Its no problem, I'll be in town anyway so it'll only take a few minutes to go down that way! Which I'll most likely be down there anyway for my morning coffee! :)

Superquinn in Castletroy has it - its on the cheese display in the middle of the floor just after you enter the shop. I'd never heard of it, but noticed it because its not that often that you get cheese named after sub-atomic particles!! :D

Tesco in the crescent definitely have it, it's in the cheese counter section - not where the prepacked cheeses are. Small tubs, not sure of price though

    Awesome news daisy thanks!

I would never have thought of checking the counter - I only checked the fancy cheese section :o:o

Glad to see my quark thread has caused such excitement in the forum - nearly two pages! :pac::pac:

So, what is quark like then? I'd never heard of it till I saw this thread. Do you eat it with crackers, or French bread, or do you put it things? What wines/beers go with it?

Also intrigued and interested in the answers to these questions. (not meaning to kick off the M&S thing again but I got some savage Cornish Cruncher cheese there today nom nom)

Today not only did I find it in Tesco..... I found it on the discount shelf \o/

It's not really that kinda cheese - it's a bit like cream cheese but tastes pretty awful on its own. If you mix it with stuff it works well as a cheesecake base or with cocoa powder for a mousse-type vibe.

    Thanks again guys :D

    Yours in cheesiness
