Cheap 4 x 4 Jeep ?

I'm looking to buy a cheap jeep, I already have a good car and I don't want to wear it out with pulling.

My main use of the jeep will be towing cattle to the mart (pulling a 10 x 6 ), pulling home fertilizer/meal etc from the co-op's etc general farm work.

It will not be doing huge miles.

So a towing limit of at least would 3T would be nice :D

    my budget would be 2000 max or I could I even get a decent 4 x 4 for 2000?

From looking at donedeal I could get a 2000 Trooper of a 1996 Pajero

Could someone recommend me a decent a jeep within this budget ?

Are the 3.0 Troopers suppose to be a really bad engine or is that just pub talk ? I like the look of them :o

    Cheers

    Mostly road work

But I suppose I could get lazy with and use it to for herding and setting up electric fences , filling up the creep feeders with meal etc.

I'd say about 90% road work though .

youll pick up a good 3.1 trooper tested and all for under 2k. steer clear of the 3.0, its not pub talk, they like to choke themselves to death:)
