hi all i have an iphone 4 here that has been showing me invalid sim for the past 4days.
I have restored countless number of times and it doesn't work.

I have gotten a new sim, and yet it doesn't work.

An ideas how to fix this?

    thanks

Do a factory reset? It deletes everything but it's worth a try

If that doesn't work, sound like a phone problem

Bring it into an apple retailer or a phone shop

    Was it factory unlocked?

This could be the cause of your problem

Did you upgrade to 5.1.1 just before the problem? Did you buy it new as a factory unlocked phone? If not was it factory unlocked or jailbroken and unlocked?

If if was not a factory unlocked phone and you upgraded to 5.1.1 then you will have to wait till jailbreak and unlock comes out to unlock it again.

it wasnt factory unlocked, it was locked to AT&T originally but the ownwer kept it on BB 1.59.00.

I didnt update to ios5.1.1 as doing so will update my baseband.
