    Hi guys
Sorry I keep posting up new threads but I'm actually addicted to this forum at the moment:D I'm really trying to up my protein content. I'm not a big fan of red meat so I'd be mainly eating fish, chicken and eggs. I'm not mad about tuna to be honest especially the stuff in brine, however I actually like the tuna in sunflower oil. I usually drain off most of the excess oil from the top of the can before eating. Would this be a healthy source of protein to have maybe 3-4 times a week? Thanks in advance.

It's fine, but check the can to see if the oil used is unhydrogenated because if it's hydrogenated it will contain more transfats which are bad.

Some people will say not to consume more than a couple cans of tuna per week because of the mercury content, but unless you're pregnant for example, I wouldn't worry about it.
