Delivery is a flat €19, no matter how much you get off them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,861 ✭✭✭FlyingIrishMan

No. Its 18.99 for the entire thing to be posted to Ireland.
    Yes.
    One week roughly.
    They will.

Don't get that RAM. 650w is more than you need you can drop to 550w, or even 450w if you want.

It has massive heat spreaders as you can see in the picture.
It can get in the way of some stuff such as fans, or cables.

550w is still plenty for any single card on the market. Unless you plan on using dual cards you won't need more than that. Saves you almost 20euro.

I've only ordered of them once and I got my parts fine within a week.
Their customer service is very good, emails come back the next day usually and you can ring them and they are helpful there too.

    @Digy123
Just go with the cheapest you can find. These G.skill ones are in two of my builds and I haven't had a single problem with them.

Or this if you want to keep some aesthetics :D

I have just seen that the Vengeance ram is clocked at 1600 and the G skill is 1333 is there any difference?

you can get a low profile version of the vengeance, not much difference performance wise, but looks a lot nicer, comes in white, red, black or blue as well. I'm really not a fan of generic looking ram, if your going to spend the money on a performance machine at least make it look puuuurdy:D

Yes. Although if your based around Dublin I'm sure one of the lads here wouldn't mind building it for you if you wanted to save 20euro.

Do they include UK/IE power plugs for Irish customers or do you need to get adapters for monitor & computer?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 598 ✭✭✭Tij da feen

Just get 3-pin kettle leads for them, the monitor should have the same input as well.

Well it was dispatched May 10 (which was a Thursday), and it arrived today, which is a Tuesday. Pretty quick if ya ask me :)

I think they dispatch the day after you pay them.

^Did your power supply come with a plug that worked here in Ireland? Or was it the two-pronged European plug? I know this is an old post but a reply would be much appreciated!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,299 ✭✭✭✭BloodBath

It would be a 2 pinned plug. They can still be used here with a cheap adapter or by sticking something into the top earth pin hole to open the bottom 2.

You'll get a 2 pin plug most likely. You have a few options. Replace with standard 3 pin kettle leads (if you have to buy, they'll be 3 quid at most). Or you can buy an adapter. Or you can force them in :D But I don't recommend this in the long run, it's a really tight squeeze.
