    WD TV Live 2011 edition
How's it going, lads? I was wondering if someone could shed some light on this problem i have.
Basically, i want to input my own custom moviesheets on my external hard drive so i can view them on the wdtv live player.
I'm using the software Thumbgen and i have managed to generate a moviesheet for one of my movies or so i thought.
Thumbgen created 3 files , a jpeg file, MSinfo document file and a TGMD file.
When i hook up my hard drive to my wdtv player, all i get is the cover art of the movie shown and no information about the movie.
Its strange on the Thumbgen screen, i can see the moviesheet of the movie with all the info supplied.
    What am i doing work?
Can anyone please help me out?
    Thanks in advance.

Are you using a custom firmware on your WDTV? You need to be running a CFW if you want Moviesheets.

Cheers for the reply, no i'm just using the current official 1.08.17 firmware.
Is it easy to install custom firmware? Would you be able to link me to an installation guide?

By the way, its a 3rd generation wdtv live

I don't have a guide but everything you need to know is on this forum.

Edit: Just saw you had a Gen3 WDTV, you cannot install a CFW on them but I think Moviesheets are possible.
