Buddies should keep them occupied for an hour or two

kennedy's pet farm would be a lovely way to spend an afternoon...was there with our 2 smallies recently and they absolutely loved it...fed a baby lamb his bottle, played on a rickety bus...seemed expensive 32 euro for the 4 of us but we spent ages there and had a picnic

muckross gardens have a kiddi section too but the free gardens are just as entertaining

in tralee you have the aquadome, wetlands, toby world and bowling buddies but lots of gorgeous beaches around kerry for free activities

glentannasig wood has a magical walkway around the lake if you have a car and is on the dingle road

Agreed but I think glentannasig is not that suitable for toddlers I would wait until they are at least 4 or 5 before visiting.

In Killarney the Knockreer playground (in the Demesne) mentioned above is excellent. You can hire bikes with little toddler attachments and cycle the new cycle way starting at the Golf Club/or CastleRosse Hotel and finishing at the playground. Take a picknick and have it in the park.

If you are in Mucross house dont miss the old Irish Farm open during the summer months.

Killorglin (about 15mins from Killarney) hold an annual festival called Puck Fair every August (10th-12th). Great day out for all the family :)

Of course you would need access to a car to get there!
