    The blue item on top is a hydraulic power pack operated torque multiplier, the disc directly below it is the socket.

    The torque?

    25,000 ft/lbs!!!


    You stand clear when that is winding!

    Mental money spent on tools in this place, it's all very strange to see coming from such a penny pinching workshop back home.

    Bearings for the final drive need to be 120•c to go on. They were boiling them in oil but it was taking too long so they bought a 3 phase induction heater. Heats the bearings (which are about 450mm in diameter) to 120 in about a minute :eek:
