guys hey. im building one of these. but, dolmen nor stuart insurance will quote me. stuart insurance said aviva looked at the pics and said no.
which is rediculous. i can get it taxed as a camper but not insured as a camper.

    Have you tried travellers?
    http://www.travelers.ie/iwcm/Ireland/Literature/ProductFactsheets/CampervanInsuranceFactsheet_0309.pdf

The main broker for them is: odonovaninsurances.com

    Few more companies here:
    richardsoninsurance.ie
    wexfordinsurance.com
    kiddinsurances.ie

Other than odonovan, not sure if the others mentioned are still offering camper insurance. Another route is garage insurance? Not ideal, but if you were stuck...

its not built yet, im assesing if its feasable before i start mutilating the car.
i have the bits together, i bought a pop top from a gen 1 transporter, i have the sink, fittings, and materials to build it, but unless i get a green light from an insurer theres not a lot of point.

stuart insurance didnt indicate why aviva said no, and havnt responded to my email actually
