Watched this last night (available on 4OD). Link Loved the shuttle, the shape and technology of the aircraft. For anyone interested in aviation, I'm sure they'd enjoy the documentary. Just thinking while watching of all the logistics and precise science and engineering and costs of this thing are truly amazing. One guy described the booster rocket as 'basically a bomb'. I hope that something comes after to replace it, such a beautiful machine.

Got me wondering if the entire space programs were a little ahead of their time, I mean, if they knew then what they know now would the first rocket have launched?

I miss my six million dollar man doll and rocket now. :o

There were a bunch of pictures taken recently of it on the back of the jumbo on arrival into New York. I'll leave just one here.
