I have a Lidl TV a number of years and love it, but the sound @ times can boom and be fairly tiny overall.

I was thinking maybe get a 2.1 speaker set up ala a desktop pc or I am open to other ideas. Im not looking @ spending hundreds or even a hundred on it as the TV is in a small bed room.

    Thanks for any information

What about a soundbar? check richersounds.com for a few examples.

If you have an existing stereo system you might hook it up to the TV. It can work very well.

I had a quick look and they almost come in @ the same price as the tv

No stereo , but have an old amp I do use for DJaying or when watching stuff on the pc through the TV.

So I might as well just connect the Tv to the amp?

You won't know 'till you try;)

TBH, just about anything will sound better than that some of the TV's around now.
Even a cheap set of PC speakers sound better than my TV but it's not a problem for me as I have mine routed through the stereo.

True true , Ill wire em up and see tomorrow how it is .

I'm tight for space in the box room , so the big stereo I had went up in the attic :(
As you say anything would be better than the built in speakers , shame as the pictures great.
