    Hi everyone
I'm considering studying Chinese and international business and would really appreciate some advice.
    I have a few questions....
    1. Learning Chinese? How difficult is it? Is it do-able?
    2. My main concern - the year abroad
Is it possible to visit home during the year?
Expenses? Are there some grants available? Like how do u survive from day
    to day?
    Accommodation? How is that organised?
    3. The university in china? Are the lectures taught through Chinese or English?
    4. What is the drop out rate like in the course? I already failed computer applications and don't want to fail another course.

any other information would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks in advance.

i think noone can answer your question, but i can tell you what chinese looks like
Learning Chinese? How difficult is it? Is it do-able?
The Chinese don't have an alphabet,indefinite/definite article ,determiner....etc
every 'letters' in chinese have their own meaning,
some people say this is one of the most difficult language in the world.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_language
    i give you some example I=我 ,YOU=你,HE/HIM/HIS=他,SHE/HER=她, WE=我們
apple=蘋果 ,eat=吃 i eat an apple =我吃蘋果 there is no 'an' in chinese
when you see SHE/HER=她 you may find out it looks like the mix with 女and也 in chinese,
    女=girl ,but也=also/too, so SHE/HER=她=/=女也=girl also/too,

Chinese contains a total of 13461 Chinese characters(i think you only need to know about 3000) , the word 360 000 (commonly used words 28770) 31922 idioms, 4322 synonyms,7691 antonyms....etc
