Just noticed that in Logitech's Close-Out section they have Ultimate Ears 200vi Noise-Isolating Headphones as a Buy One Get One Free!
They're currently reduced to €40 from €80, which is an excellent price on it's own. But the fact you're getting two brings them down to €20 a piece. There's free standard shipping too!

I also have a 15% code that further reduces them to €17 a pair, but unfortunately between one thing and another my card is maxed.

So if anyone wants to go halves with me, with them buying and me paypaling them, PM me and I can forward on the 15% code! :o

How do you get BOGOF on this Soarer? Showing as full price for me. I'd be interested in going halves with you but I was going to get an extra pair for my brother.

Just add to your cart, and the second pair appears!

Hmmm... not for me it doesn't... maybe it's specific to your account? Or am I doing something wrong? If I change the quantity to 2, the price doubles...

Logitech occasionally add things to your basket as an incentive to finish the transaction quickly. This could be that happening. It's a time specific thing as well as it seeminly happening at random. Happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Wanted to buy some wireless gaming headphones and when I added them to my basket there was a pair of the noise cancelling headphones in there too. I waited and the finally expired after about an hour of deliberating whether or not to buy them.

@ garion: Yours are different to the one's I'm talking about.

Click here, and the ones I'm talking about are down a bit on the page.

You have to add them from the closeout page - http://www.logitech.com/en-roeu/special-offers/closeout

Thanks for the tip Soarer but it must be specific to your account... or they've sold out already.

Here's what I see on your link... no 200vi or BOGOF there at all.

That's really weird 'cause I'm not logged in!

What happens when you click Paddy's link? I'm seeing them through his link too!

Edit: I've added the image of what I see.

That is weird, very same earphones but you have to click the link from that page that saorer gives! Checked product code and all and it's the same!

Thanks for all the offers on going halves lads.

mp3 was the first to get in touch though, so I'm gonna go with him thanks.

@ mp3Ireland2: Did you get everything sorted, and the phones added to your basket?

yeah all sorted thanks! another impulse buy that I didn't need! never tried noise cancelling earphones before! I normally go with seinheisser ones as they seem to be decent value! but €16.29 for ones that cost €80 at one stage is hard to refuse!

    Yeah, think it is.

There's another thread after being started where the OP is offering his code if you want it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,014 ✭✭✭Soarer

Looks like they're gone at this stage. When you try add to the cart now, it redirects you to the normal headphones page.

    Hope everyone got sorted.

But thanks for your OP, as I was looking for some decent headphones. I will just have to keep looking.

They are not noise cancelling , they are Noise-Isolating !

    Just for clarity .

Noise-canceling phones utilize an active noise reduction system. They electronically produce a frequency which, with varying degrees of success, cancel out white noise (constant mid-level sounds like airplane engines and track noise). They require a power source (a single AAA battery in one earphone or two batteries in an external case).

Noise-isolating (in-ear) phones use a passive system, simply sealing the ear with a variety of foam canal tips. To the 30db or so reduction in all outside noise this alone provides, sound is enhanced by being sent directly into the ear. The ratio of music to outside noise in the ear is, therefore, extremely high They need no batteries, are lightweight and compact.

    No worries Sharkman.

I reckon you might be seeing a few of them on Adverts in a few weeks! ;)

The Logitech UK Site has the same headphones reduced and BOGOF too!

Don't know if they'll deliver to Ireland from that site, but if someone wants to try....

I tried it now (I just spent too long thinking about it earlier on!) - order completed OK and my 15% code worked too. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens now...

    Good man Paddy.

Just checked there again, and they seem to be gone from the UK site now too! So you probably got the last pair! :D

It seems I have these in my cart (on the logitech site) still BOGOF, I'm sure they'll get released at some point but right now they're there. I have no use for them so won't be placing an order.

Got the UPS shipping email there around 12 - looks like they shipped from the UK site fine.

Are you open to offers? I would gladly give you €20 for a pair

Since I don't want them, and have not ordered them (they're just in my cart, still) I don't know how that would work out.

For anybody that was looking for these, I think the initial €80 price quoted on the logitech website was a bit extreme!

£19.99 delivered to uk Parcel motel job I think!
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultimate-Ears-200vi-Noise-Isolating-Headset/dp/B0044GJ2MS/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1346663462&sr=1-1

Also if you don't want the inline remote, these are good value
    £13.38 delivered to uk
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultimate-Ears-200-Noise-Isolating-Earphones/dp/B005LGUZK8/ref=pd_sim_sbs_ce_2

    or cheapest from ebay
    http://www.ebay.ie/itm/LOGITECH-EARPHONE-ULTIMATE-EARS-UE-200-GREY-NOISE-ISOLATING-5-EAR-CUSHIONS-/200782624137?pt=AU_headphone&hash=item2ebf93b589#ht_2075wt_1159

from australia but postage only €4.10 so works out at €12.75

The inline remote is handy when using ipod but if using on PC or phone it's akward! I've to hold the middle button down with an elastic band to get the proper sound when using my phone and have to put the earphones in about 3/4 way to get the proper sound at work!

I put mine through the washing machine and although they still work i wouldn't mind a new pair as sound has deteriorated a bit in one earphone as the little vibrating cover part is now gone (no idea what to call it). Very happy with the sound out of them tough
