Hi guys, one of my friend has merc e200 1.8 which is making squeaking noise while steering is full lock. Any idea what could be causing it?

    Thanks.

Probably the belt slipping a bit.

It is squeaking when holding the steering at full lock or when the steering is at or near full lock?

The first would indicate a worn/slipping belt, the second may be a worn/dry balljoint which would be common on older E classes.
