    Hey all,
I have a collection of proof coins that I want to sell. A relative bought them in the 90s from the Westminster and Royal Mints. I know that some of these mints have dodgy reputations, but I've checked out the coins online and they all seem to authentic. Most are silver, and some are gold, and all are in hardened plastic protective cases. I've done a bit of research online, and valued them from between €10 and €400. The latter refers to solid silver 5 oz. coins. I was wondering if anyone would have ideas on how to sell them. I'm goign to try adverts.ie but I don't really imagine that there' an enormous market for €400 coins at the moment. Indeed, it could well be that I'm completely off in my valuation. I'll post one or two pics below, and I'd appreciate opinions. I was thinking of just going to a dealer with them, but again I'm not sure that there are many dealers in Ireland who'd deal with such coins. I would though, appreciate it if anyone could point me in the direction of dealers in the
Dublin area, or the South East.

    Thanks in advance,

    Einhard.

This is a 1997 Canadian silver Maple leaf. Its composed of 1 oz. of pure silver, and the valuation I'd be inclided to put on it base don what I've seen online is approx €50. Reasonable?

This mamma is a 1996 St Helena & Ascension £25 silver coin commemorating the queen's 70th birthday. According to the interwebs, it's worth about £299 or €370. Again, is that a reasonable price to ask on adverts? Or anywhere?

This is a 1994 Chinese 5 Yuan gold unicorn. I'm seeing valuations of over $300 for these coins.

Finally, this is 1996 Tuvalu Woman of the Century $20 coin. Like the above coin it's 5 oz. of pure silver, and from checking online it goes for approx £279 or €250.

Do people think there's a market on adverts for this kind of thing? And would anyone have suggestion as to where I might sell them?

Also, more interestingly, what do people think of these type of coins. A relative bought them in the 90s, and I've had them for a decade and I can't understand the attraction at all. I'd much rather a coin I could hold in my hand and think about its history etc.
