Personal Shopping Service Dublin

Have a few weddings coming up in the summer and am getting worried now - can't find anything to wear.

I would love a personal shopper as I don't know what suits me. Do these exist? I would have no problem paying for the service.

Ideally I would love someone to have a chat with me beforehand to see what I really don't like (bare back/shoulders is out, nothing too girly, hides the midrift, etc), discuss my body shape and size, and bring me lots of things to try on.

Any info would be very much appreciated.

Where are you based? Arnotts have a free service http://www.arnotts.ie/content/Personal-Shopping/1689 They have a massive range of brand.

As far as I know Dundrum Town Centre and Denenhams also offer personal shoppers.

Thanks Twee. Based outside Dublin but am willing to travel for the service. I do most of my shopping there anyway. Not much shops where I live :(

I've been to the one in dundrum, house of Fraser. Sally Anne is the name of the woman and she's great. Really spot on. I've recommended a friend who has a very different style to me and she was equally happy. It's a free service, but you gotta book.

Debenhams! I went to the one in Henry street last year when I had two weddings coming up and she was great!! Told her what I liked, didn't want, rough budget etc and she went off around the store a few times to pick up stuff for me to try. Ended up with a great dress and cover-up (and a recommendation for shoe colour and style because they didn't have anything suitable) that got loads of compliments :D

One thing she said was that because I was there when the sales were on (isn't there always some sort of sale...?) that a lot of stock wasn't in the place she expected to find it and some sizes weren't available, so the choice wasn't as good as it could have been. Also she'd shout in "are you ok in there?", I'd reply "give me a second" and she'd walk straight in anyway  After the third time she did that I gave up minding that a dress was around my neck at the time... :o

Can book it online too, link is at bottom of debenhams.ie

Would second the House of Fraser one, I've been twice and both times was delighted with what I got. There's two shoppers there and I found them both good. You don't pay for it, and there's a great range of prices in the shop - thought they might be pushing the more expensive stuff but they didn't at all. One of the times I ended up getting a dress she picked that was 70% off, happy days!
And if you bought something and changed your mind you can bring it back and get a full refund (without having to go back to the actual shopper in case you were a bit embarrassed to tell her you were bringing it back!)

There is a shopper in the Dundrum Town Centre who's not attached to any shop, but I've heard a bit of negative feedback on her and you have to pay for her too.
